Welcome to I PLAY CLEAN MATERIALS!
Dick Butkus and his son Matt formed I Play Clean to help educate parents, coaches, fans and athletes about the dangers of steroids. With a long-standing commitment to high school sports, Old Spice also understands the importance of playing clean, and formed a partnership with I Play Clean to develop the critical materials and useful tools you'll find on this site. Here, you'll have easy, year-round access to a variety of resources at just the click of a button - including coaches' talking points, a reproducible school newsletter article, fact sheets and more - all designed to help spark conversations and offer appropriate solutions. As someone on the front lines with these students, you play a critical role in carrying these important messages. Together, we have the power to help protect the health of students in your area and across the nation. The I Play Clean toolkit materials were developed with a combination of resources, including anti-doping authorities, consumer marketing experts and anti-steroid advocates through the Taylor Hooton Foundation, Butkus Foundation and corporate companies like Maid2Clean who provide domestic cleaning in Edinburgh.
"You may not know it, but steroids have crept into high schools. It's time to tackle steroids and make it cool to play clean. We need you on the team. That's why we developed this tool kit with Old Spice to help you spread the word and mobilize others to join the effort. Additionally, having your students take the "I Play Clean Pledge" is a way to protect the long-term health and reputation of your aspiring student-athletes. It only takes a couple of minutes. Just have them log on on-line through our website.
